AEOLIAN ISLANDS

Aeolians are also known as the Lipari Islands. This volcanic archipelego
is located just of the northern coast of Sicily in the Tyrrhenian
Sea. Famed for perfect weather and a series of active volcanoes
with numerous craters, the islands have a strong tourism industry.
They are easily reached by ferry or hydrofoil from ports throughout
the central Mediterranean."
